2. On your blog, write a paragraph about "New Year's Resolutions". What are your resolutions? Why is it important to make new year's resolutions? End your paragraph by writing about how you are going to celebrate ringing in the new year. Include one or two pictures about new year celebrations, and then send the link to your blog to T. Today, we are going to continue our project. You are going to finish making your travel itinerary (schedule) with the information you looked up.

1. For today, finish filling-in the information on the worksheet. Then, you need to type up all the information onto an Excel Worksheet. Send me your Excel Worksheet.

Hello Class,

Today, we are going to start on a project that will take about 3 weeks to finish. You are going to make a travel itinerary (schedule) for a friend visiting Taiwan, then you will make a Powerpoint Presentation with the information you looked up.

Choose 3 places in Taiwan to visit over a time span of 6 days. Plan your trip according to time and distance.

Today we are going to do a Web Quest. That means your are going to search for information on the Internet, and write it down on the worksheet. 

1. Fill-in the answers to the questions on the worksheet, and hand-in the worksheet today.

4. For your blog or to write on Microsoft Word, you are going to write about Halloween. Answer the questions in a paragraph.

2. What did you dress up as for Halloween during the school activity last year?

3. Find a house that is decorated in a cool way for Halloween, and post it.

4. For today's blog post, you are going to write about your favorite famous person. They can be an actor, singer, writer, scientist, politician, illustrator, designer, philanthropist, etc.

In your post you must include the following things:

1. A brief introduction to the person. This should be about 1 paragraph long. Answer these questions:
a. Date of birth
b. Place of birth
c. Height
d. Age
e. How did they become famous?
f. What is their most famous work?

2. Add a picture of the person into the post.

    During the Moon Festival every year, my family has some traditions that we always follow. We will have a BBQ with our family and friends, then after we are full, we will enjoy some moon cake while admiring the large, round moon. Then we will go inside and play games to wind down the evening. This year, we will celebrate Moon Festival at my grandparents home. Everyone in my family will be there. I'm really looking forward to spending time with my cousins. My favorite thing about Moon Festival is playing with my cousins and eating BBQ. It's something we only get to do do once a year.

Typing Club, Highlights, and Blog Post

 Hello Class!

We are going to start Typing Club today. First, you need to go here to log-in. It looks like this:

You need to type your 108... number as your Username. For example: 1080011

You don't need a password because I have already enrolled you in my class. Then press sign in. Please do the first 10 lessons today.

The second thing today is Highlights. Remember to sign-in to your Highlights account and do the readings that I have assigned. 

Blog Post and Highlights Library

 Hello Class!

Today we are going to make or finish our first blog post! After you have published your blog post, you need to send your blog address to me at shinminsunny@gmail.com.

Second, we are going to sign up for Highlights Library and take the Placement Test. You will log-in for the first time, then go to your e-mail to change your password. Change your password to the same one you use for Gmail. Then go back and do the placement test.

Today we are going to do a webquest on Taiwan! A web quest is searching the Internet for useful information. Today, we are going to be searching for information on Taiwan.

My Winter Vacation

This winter vacation was a special one because it was longer than usual due to the virus. We had a lot of extra time to do fun things, finish our winter homework, go out with family and friends, and even eat at the restaurants we never have time to go to. For me, I did a lot of fun things with my family and friends. I went to Tainan with my family and friends. We visited Anping Fort. We also ate a lot of delicious foods
