CALL Week 5

 Hello Class!

Today, we are going to be doing our usual with Typing Club, Highlights, Oxford Discover, and Blogger.

1. For Typing Club, you should finish to Lesson 70 today. 

2. For Oxford Discover continue with Unit 1 and move on to Unit 2 if you have finished Unit 1. 

3. For Blogger, please post about Moon Festival by answering the questions below, and post at least 3 pictures in your post. 

1. What traditions do you and your family do on Moon Festival?

2. Where will you celebrate this year?

3. What is your favorite thing about Moon Festival?

Answer these questions in a paragraph like this:

    During the Moon Festival every year, my family has some traditions that we always follow. We will have a BBQ with our family and friends, then after we are full, we will enjoy some moon cake while admiring the large, round moon. Then we will go inside and play games to wind down the evening. This year, we will celebrate Moon Festival at my grandparents home. Everyone in my family will be there. I'm really looking forward to spending time with my cousins. My favorite thing about Moon Festival is playing with my cousins and eating BBQ. It's something we only get to do do once a year. 

CALL Week 4

 Hello Class!

We will be signing up for our Oxford Discover accounts today. So, please sit with your ESL class classmates, and I will help you guys sign up together. When you are done signing up or are still waiting to sign up, please do the things listed below.

These are the things we are going to do today:

1. Typing Club: You need to finish up to lesson 51

2. Highlights - Finish the assigned readings.

3. Oxford Discover - Start doing Unit 1 

Typing Club, Highlights, and Blog Post

 Hello Class!

We are going to start Typing Club today. First, you need to go here to log-in. It looks like this:

You need to type your 108... number as your Username. For example: 1080011

You don't need a password because I have already enrolled you in my class. Then press sign in. Please do the first 10 lessons today.

The second thing today is Highlights. Remember to sign-in to your Highlights account and do the readings that I have assigned. 

Blog Post and Highlights Library

 Hello Class!

Today we are going to make or finish our first blog post! After you have published your blog post, you need to send your blog address to me at shinminsunny@gmail.com.

Second, we are going to sign up for Highlights Library and take the Placement Test. You will log-in for the first time, then go to your e-mail to change your password. Change your password to the same one you use for Gmail. Then go back and do the placement test.
